Proz.com topic: Quality in Translation website
Hi,
Just a quick thanks to Hanni (http://www.proz.com/profile/1390213) for posting this topic on Proz.com:
"Quality in Translation website"

Everything that can be done to promote the ideas behind the campaign is greatly appreciated!
Thanks for your support!

Hi,
It seems that your thanks are not enough and that you should openly voice your reaction on the ProZ.com site – just have a look there at the venomous attack on your initiative, which blatantly ignores and misrepresents the facts and, I’m afraid, is doing you a disservice.
Thanks, Hanni

Thanks again Hanni. It doesn’t really bother us to be honest. As long as people are talking about quality in translation we’re making progress

I’m not sure, Tom.
I do believe you should consider the content of what’s said about you and put things straight, and perhaps openly provide more information about you – not just in the press releases – it’s one of the points raised in the forum, and it would certainly lend you more credibility in the eyes of people.
Thanks, Hanni

Thanks Hanni. We certainly understand the issue and we’ll look at it again. In the meanwhile, here is a post we did back in May 2010 on this exact issue (redrafted as a page): http://www.qualityintranslation.org/who-are-we/.

Hi Tom,
Thanks for sharing the information.
However, I’m in doubt whether it can satisfy the demand voiced in the forum for greater transparency on your part, and as noted, it would be in your own interest and do you nothing but good.
Thanks, Hanni
